Best Photography Spots Near Denver

Union Station Denver

Denver's Union Station is a historic landmark and has been transformed in recent years into a gathering space. There are bars, restaurants, and a hotel around a large common area with a variety of seating options. The beautifully decorated interior provides a great backdrop for portraits and you can hang out before or after a photoshoot for some great food and drinks! Outside there are plenty of backgrounds to choose from for your photos with partial city skyline views, train platforms, or the historic structure itself. If you want to combine a photography session with a fun Denver experience, this is the location for you!

RiNo - River North Art District

One of the most popular photo locations in Denver is the RiNo district. Colorful street art adorns the sides of buildings and offers limitless photo ops. One of the great things about this spot is that it is constantly changing. New art appears in the alleys regularly. When you have photos done here you can choose from a variety of vibrant backgrounds while walking around exploring the area. There are plenty of options to keep you entertained before or after your photoshoot with numerous bars, restaurants, shops, and galleries nearby. Take photos and make a day of exploring the area made up of some of Denver's most historic and important neighborhoods.

Outdoor Photo Locations Near Denver

There are plenty of naturally beautiful locations for photos within an hour of Denver. We are lucky to have many parks, open spaces, and mountain vistas close by that make excellent photography locations. Here are a few of my favorites.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre - located in Morrison, this famous venue has gorgeous rock formations and foothill views.

South Valley Park - in Littleton has red rocks, mountain vistas, and does not require difficult hiking.
